It's been a while since i posted, I apologize. I've been finishing my senior year of college at New Hampshire Institute of Art and preparing for my senior show.  This past weekend I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography! It's feels amazing to be done. The student exhibit at NHIA is up, and i encourage you all to go check out the amazing artwork that is displayed. A wide variety of photography, painting, ceramics, and illustration.  Thank you to everyone who has supported me throughout these four years. Now it's time to make some more art :) I'll be keeping you updated.

Senior Studio Days

we survive.

Andrew Wyeth

yesterday i came across some old photos of the last visit i had to the olsen house in cushing, maine. growing up in the midcoast area, i never thought much of it as a kid, but there are a lot of great landmarks around. it's always such a peaceful experience walking through the house, and a really neat place to visit if you're ever in the area (especially if you're a lover/appreciator of art!)

current showings, upcoming shows, snowsnow, busy busy!

i currently have two handmade books on display in the vault gallery of the fuller hall building at new hampshire institute of art! i'm not positive how long the show is up for, it's been up since december. go have a look! a lot of great books are in there.

also, the minumental show at NHIA is taking place, soon. works by current students, staff, faculty, and alumni. work has to be 2x2. a lot of fun things will be on sale, and for super cheap! go support all of the artists and attend the opening :)

new year

i'm going to make a point to use my 35 mm more. it used to be the camera that was always attached to me. i've been neglecting it a little the last year, what with trying out the view camera, various medium formats, and finally getting to like my digital. but i miss that medium. it's my last semester at college, and i'm going to bring it with me everywhere.

here's to 2011. let's make it a good one :)
